Iβm the kind of person who reads reviews when trying new places, so if youβre wondering whether this spot is worth it: yes, absolutely. We found this place completely on a whim. We were driving by, I said, βOh look, a pizzeria,β and we kept going. π We originally planned to eat at the breakfast spot across the street, but it was packed, so we circled back to the pizzeria and got there right when they opened. (Destiny? Maybe) We ordered the Healthy Healthy pizza with pepperoni and no cheese since I canβt do dairy. My boyfriend used to make pizza in New York and is very particular about a good pizza, while I just really appreciate one. π The crust? PERFECT. Seriously, I was blown away. The sauce was π«°π½ chefβs kiss, and the ingredients were fresh. I wish we could have tried the cheese because we talked with the owner about it and it apparently is REALLY good. Anyways, itβs been hours and we are still talking about that pizza. Which reminded me I wanted to write this review Great balance of flavors and textures, great conversation, and genuinely a great little find. Would absolutely recommend!

OMG!!!! I don't know why there's not a line out the door!!! I stopped by on a whim, and some delicious looking online pics. Once I ordered the owner asked me what brought me in today. I told him a love for pizza and the online pics. He said in-person will be even better. I loved his confidence and he was 100% correct!!!! I had the Lucca's Special and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! If I lived here I'd be here weekly! Everything was fresh and delicious. Most of the items on the pizzas come from an Italian company and the wine selection is strong. The sweet treats and coffee on the otherside of the cafe looked and smelled delightful as well. If you're in San Diego DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE!!!!!!

I had the Chefβs Special this evening and it was great! Iβm in town for training and staying at the Marriott. This location is an easy walk and the best meal Iβve had all week.

Absolutely the best pizza I have ever had. I am super picky on the pizza I eat and I always start with a pepperoni pizza to see how well they make it and this place didnβt disappoint. Even tried their raspberry mouse and carrot cake dessert and added a Carmel latte on the side. We devoured every single piece of this food. I would highly recommend this place for the great food and atmosphere!!! The owners are so kind, Mary even checked to make sure we were enjoying our time. Thank you so much. We will definitely be back down to eat here again.

I had a pleasant experience at this pizzeria! I ordered online and they had my order pretty fast. The services were nice and friendly and the pizza was just delicious! A little on the pricey side but good! Canβt wait to try more things!
